Hope is not wishful thinking, but instead, is confidence in God’s unchanging character. The world offers shifting promises of security and success, but only the Lord gives true hope that endures. As Paul writes in Romans 15:13, “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” No matter the trials we face, God calls us to rest in His promises, trust His timing, and walk in His strength. Our hope is not in ourselves but in Christ, who has conquered sin and death.
